Samsung has created a service (samsung dive) which locates your phone when you lose it       (hope I'll never lose it...)
The other funcions are (gsmarena):
"The Samsung Dive service offers four features – remote lock (you need a password to unlock your phone after you activate that), remote wipe (removes all user data from the phone), send a notification when the phone’s SIM card is changed and get the location of your phone".

I had a program for my old phone like this, I am just glad Samsung offer this for free.

It is great to have that piece of mind knowing you have extra security on the handset.

But trust me you don't want to activate remote wipe be accident like i did once when i was drunk lol

After I log-in to SamsungDive using my Samsung Account, I see the following image, without any way to interact with the service:



What am I doing wrong?

you need to log in to samsung account in the phone and activate mobile tracker.i didnt had any problem so im not sure about it.

My Samsung Account is already logged-into on my phone, and Mobile Tracker is activated. Yet, after logging-in into the SamsungDive service I still see the "Register your mobile phone now!" sign.

You must enter your phone number.. Go to samsung dive, there must be a edit button around wave photo (right-up corner). click it and save your number

all users can use remote lock and remote wipe..
but you need to be in germany or uk to use location service

Does this work through GPS or does it find the location through the phone network? As GPS is rubbish on my phone, it wouldn't be any use if it relied on that.
